MSH Thought
The body is an amazing thing. If we will remove the negative forces that cause it stress it has an amazing ability to heal itself. Just try getting a good night sleep for seven nights in a row, without going to sleep to the tv, and walking a half hour a day, and eating no bready stuff or sugar, while drinking plenty of water... if you're like most Americans, you'll start to feel great by the end of the week. You might go through some withdrawal, but you'll feel great soon!

A PROCESS OF SELF HEALING?
(The Mind-Body Connection)

When you begin to understand how your body responds to stress, you will have the ability to manage it more effectively. You can see the train coming down the track, and avoid a head-on with a Stress or Tension Headache.

What I have found, is that some people RARELY, if ever, have stress headaches. I am one of them. Because, even as I type right now, I noticed tension starting in my head, and I used parts of the process to get rid of it. We seem to be able to sense stress building in the early stages, and have ways of letting it out.

The people I help most typically can be described as hard workers; independent, reliable, focused, dedicated and caring. But for the most part, they suffer in silence. These people who could never be called whiners. They carry the world on their backs, and are typically proud of it.

These are not the kind of people who even acknowledge that they are experiencing stress until they have a headache. Then, to be able to say "I have a headache" seems to be a legitimate way of expressing the fact they are under stress and need a break.

What I want to do, is to teach them, and you, how to get rid of that headache the very moment it begins. I don't mean ten minutes into it, or 5 minutes into it, I mean less than 5 seconds from the time it starts.

The Process:

The MSH Process is very simple. It is a series of questions that are designed in such a way, that when answered, can eleviate Stress/Tension headaches in less than five minutes.

Once you learn the process, you can walk yourself through it in less than a minute -- But don't be fooled by its simplicity. This process works.

I have never started this process with a "Believer" in the process, there is always reluctance... but that reluctance is gone the instant they realize that their headache is gone, or greatly reduced! That's when they become Believers!

A Sense of Free Falling?

When people are under stress, it often triggers the Fight-or-Flight Response. You know, the way you might respond to a charging bear, a potential robber, or anything that puts us at risk. It's not a good time to close your eyes.

That is why, I believe, that some people are reluctant to close their eyes when I begin the process. There is a sense of vulnerability... And occasionally a sense of free-falling... It's a normal reaction.

The amount I feel the sensation relates to how much stress I am under, and how scattered I feel. If you close your eyes right now, do you understand what I am saying?

Maybe today is a good to learn the MSH Process, and get your stress/tension headache under control?
